Traditional stone house close to the sandy beach
Situated about 4 km from Postira, in a deeply indented cove, surrounded by green pines, embellished by tall poplars, it is beautiful throughout all the seasons. Lovrečina can be reached by road, along an old walking path or by sea. In its sand, the cove hides the foundations of an old Roman summer residence. From here, hunting expeditions for deer and wild boars in the interior of the island began. The remnants and characteristics of a large early Christian basilica bear witness to the travels of ancient pilgrims and religious celebrations.
In the sea before it, sailed trireme and galleons and traditional sailboats, while the bura (strong winds) carried the war cry of Omiš pirates.
Today Lovrečina is an excursion site, a locality for rest and leisure, with a large sandy beach, running water, grass bowls and restaurant offering homemade meals and specialties prepared from natural ingredients, fresh fish, meat and olive oil of their own production.Vila Lovrečina
The Vila Lovrečina is also situated in the cove. The old building of traditional Dalmatian architecture was reconstructed in the original form on the foundations of the old Roman summer residence.
The Vila Lovrečina is comprised of a: kitchen with a fireplace, living room and dinning room on the ground floor and two triple bed rooms with a bathroom on the toilet on the floor.
In front of the house there is a spacious yard with a fireplace.
The location in which it was built, the close vicinity of the sea, the splendour of the cove and landscape make this villa truly unique. Lovrečina is a place for connoisseurs, for all those who can see beauty, share it with others and preserve it at the same time.

I really want to visit Brač! How do I do that?!
Brač is an island which can be reached by sea and air. Here are some basics.
BY SEA ///
There are two ferry lines connecting Brač with a land.
First is in Supetar, connecting Brač with Split, and the second is on Sumartin, connecting Brač with Makarska. There is a third port that can be reached by regular local boat lines, and that is Bol, on the south part of the island. Here, you can reach Brač from Split, or from a neighbouring island Hvar. More information about ferry lines and timetables you may find here.
Also, if you own or rent boats, you may just sail into any place on island Brač. We suggest Brač Deluxe for transfers!
BY AIR ///
Brač has its own small airport, situated in the middle of the island. More and more flights are introduced each year, and all the necessary information you may find on the airport’s website. If you need transportation from the airport to any other place on the island, may we suggest contacting some of the #bestofbrac service providers, such as Taxi Peša, Brač Deluxe, Rent a Motorino or M&B rent. Check them out!
Once you’re on the island, rent a car, use taxis or local transportation. For online booking with discount, click here.
All the emergency numbers you might need but we hope you won’t!
