The 12th CarnivalFEST, the International Bracelet Summer Carnival, will begin in Bol on Friday 13 September, and will last until 19 September, with carnival events in four other places, Supetar, Sutivan, Sumartin and Milna.
The Summer Carnival is primarily a tourist event that brings to life the wedding venues of happy carnivals and carnival groups coming from Croatia and other neighboring countries, Italy, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and then Turkey and Germany at the end of the tourist season.
At the carnival processions, participants present a specific mask or story, their cities and countries with a musical and stage performance in front of the stage for locals and tourists who are still vacationing in Brac.
We especially invite you all to participate in the Carnival Charity Night, Friday September 13, which starts at 8pm on the waterfront.
Carnival groups and hosts will participate in raising money for the Brac Buds Association by selling souvenirs, drinks and food on the waterfront. The band Koperonti will play, and a cheerful carnival society is guaranteed a party with praiseworthy humanitarian action.
On Saturday, September 14, the International Carnival Parade in Supetar is on the program.
On Sunday, September 15th, the carnivalists return to Bol, where everything continues with the grand festive International Carnival Parade of the Federation of European Carnival Cities (FECC) on the waterfront.
On Monday, September 16, the carnival will be in Sutivan, on September 17 in Sumartin, and on Wednesday, September 18 in Milna.
Thanks to the Municipality of Bol, which has been a member of the Federation of European Carnival Cities (FECC) since 2012, Brac has enrolled on the map of European Carnivals with its International Summer Carnival.
The organizers of the 12th CarnivalFEST, the International Summer Carnival are FECC BOL (Bol Cultural Center Bol) and the MONADE Carnival Association from Supetar.
Part of the CarnivalFEST that takes place in Bol is part of the program of the 30th Bol Summer, a manifestation of culture and entertainment, created and organized by the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Bol.

I really want to visit Brač! How do I do that?!
Brač is an island which can be reached by sea and air. Here are some basics.
BY SEA ///
There are two ferry lines connecting Brač with a land.
First is in Supetar, connecting Brač with Split, and the second is on Sumartin, connecting Brač with Makarska. There is a third port that can be reached by regular local boat lines, and that is Bol, on the south part of the island. Here, you can reach Brač from Split, or from a neighbouring island Hvar. More information about ferry lines and timetables you may find here.
Also, if you own or rent boats, you may just sail into any place on island Brač. We suggest Brač Deluxe for transfers!
BY AIR ///
Brač has its own small airport, situated in the middle of the island. More and more flights are introduced each year, and all the necessary information you may find on the airport’s website. If you need transportation from the airport to any other place on the island, may we suggest contacting some of the #bestofbrac service providers, such as Taxi Peša, Brač Deluxe, Rent a Motorino or M&B rent. Check them out!
Once you’re on the island, rent a car, use taxis or local transportation. For online booking with discount, click here.
All the emergency numbers you might need but we hope you won’t!
