180 years od Nazor's school in Postira

Vladimir Nazor’s Primary School from Postira on Brac will celebrate a two-day program on May 25th and 26th, the 180th anniversary of schooling in the Postira. The program will be organized as part of the 23. Nazor’s cultural and cultural manifestation held in 2018, which is held under the auspices of the Croatian Parliament’s Committee on Education, Science and Culture.

PROGRAM

On Friday, May 25, the following program will be held:

10.30 am Open School Day: (in the School Area)

– Sport today (Maja Klinčić and Đurđica Kovačić)

– Nazor in Grades 1 – 4 reading books (Senka Zrilić and Danijela Radić)

– Theatrical recitation program of Nazor’s works from reading books / Quiz: White Present for students 3rd and 4th grade

– Permanent Exhibition Exhibition by Vladimir Nazor; Igrokaz Puž na carinskom pregledu (Stipan Šandrk)

– The Art of Beautiful Writing (Marijana Kličinović)

– Small School Technical Museum (Žan Ravlić)

– 180th year of school in posters – time lag (Kristina Novaković)

Exhibitions: Photographs of School Days (Parents) Awarded Student Artwork (Dunja Župa) Our School – Eco School (Ana Lovrić)

17.00 hrs Humanitarian Tournament for Brace Buds (Bocage Club – Postira) – Contest with the product exhibition of Učenička Co-operatives – Participants of the pupils, parents, representatives of the Association Brački pupils and teachers

On Saturday, May 26, the following program will be held:

11.00 am The Professional Meeting organized by the Education Agency (Pastoral Center of St. Joseph)

2. dr. Sc. Branko Matulić, 180 years of schooling at the Post Office

3. Iva Polić, Life and Work of Petar Preradović

4. dr. Sc. Srećko Listeš, Planning and Exercising Learning Outcomes on the Example of Nazor and Preradović’s Poetry

– 16.00 Final Evening (St. Joseph’s Pastoral Center) Hymn – the Morbin band

I really want to visit Brač! How do I do that?!

Brač is an island which can be reached by sea and air. Here are some basics.

BY SEA ///

There are two ferry lines connecting Brač with a land.

First is in Supetar, connecting Brač with Split, and the second is on Sumartin, connecting Brač with Makarska. There is a third port that can be reached by regular local boat lines, and that is Bol, on the south part of the island. Here, you can reach Brač from Split, or from a neighbouring island Hvar. More information about ferry lines and timetables you may find here.

Also, if you own or rent boats, you may just sail into any place on island Brač. We suggest Brač Deluxe for transfers!

Brač has its own small airport, situated in the middle of the island. More and more flights are introduced each year, and all the necessary information you may find on the airport’s website.
