Radio on the island
We are very happy that the story KLFM launched last year in Milna as part of their mini tour “Radio on the Road” is repeated this year. The Milna Cultural Center recognized the importance of the local community program and launched Radio on the Island, a permanent program, in partnership with KLFM – Community Radio. We hope that this way, August becomes a permanent place for intimate gatherings with carefully chosen domestic independent performers. On Friday, August 11th, at 9pm in this “little misto”, at the bottom of the valley, this year they will bring you: the Split singer-songwriter Gracin, who arrives with the band; the Trio of NLV and one of the most significant Croatian indie bands, The Orange Strips from Labin. As always, KLFM Soundsystem is ready to open and close this evening.
GRACIN (Alt pop) (Split)
Our dear colleague Gracin in Milna arrives after the performance at the “Super Ear” festival in Primošten. Together with Pjero and Veljko, the three-year-old will be brought to the mediterranean summer evening by the lurking sounds.
NLV (Indie folk) (Pula / Zagreb)
A great concert attraction, our guests “Road Radio” in Varaždin, Nikol, Luka and Vedran arrive in the original acoustic three-color variant. We are sure that the scenery will be shot at the bottom of the Milnars Bay will be in synergy with the emotions that NLV brings to the stage, and we hope to dance with “Bitter”.
THE ORANGE STRIPS (Indie pop) (Labin)
One of the most important indie bands in Croatia, with awe-inspiring international success and numerous tours, finally comes to Brac. Strips are again on the scene and we hope to hear some premiere of hits from previous albums as well. Though the Strips sound like a band from the surroundings of Liverpool, they always carry the scent of the Mediterranean, Labin and Milna.
The radio program on the island is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia. It is organized by the Center for Culture of Milna in cooperation with KLFM – Radio in the community. The author of the visual is Niko Mihaljević.

I really want to visit Brač! How do I do that?!
Brač is an island which can be reached by sea and air. Here are some basics.
BY SEA ///
There are two ferry lines connecting Brač with a land.
First is in Supetar, connecting Brač with Split, and the second is on Sumartin, connecting Brač with Makarska. There is a third port that can be reached by regular local boat lines, and that is Bol, on the south part of the island. Here, you can reach Brač from Split, or from a neighbouring island Hvar. More information about ferry lines and timetables you may find here.
Also, if you own or rent boats, you may just sail into any place on island Brač. We suggest Brač Deluxe for transfers!
BY AIR ///
Brač has its own small airport, situated in the middle of the island. More and more flights are introduced each year, and all the necessary information you may find on the airport’s website. If you need transportation from the airport to any other place on the island, may we suggest contacting some of the #bestofbrac service providers, such as Taxi Peša, Brač Deluxe, Rent a Motorino or M&B rent. Check them out!
Once you’re on the island, rent a car, use taxis or local transportation. For online booking with discount, click here.
