SUP11 STONES 2021-SUP RACE around island Brač

For who?

During the SUP11 Stones adventure around the Croatian Island of Brač we will paddle an average of 25 kilometers a day. As this is on open sea, with the possibilities of the wind kicking in, you need to have paddle experience on for example a bigger lake, where you have experienced some ‘waves’ / ‘choppy’ conditions. So you know how to handle your board, when the water might get a bit rougher. In order to paddle the average of 25 kilometer a day, you need to have some k’s in your arms!

What are we going to do?

We will paddle from Split, across the sea to the Island of Brač. The island is famous for their white stones! Then we’ll round the full island in the following 4 days. As we expect to finish around lunch time every day, you have time to explore the island yourself. We can offer different activities if you haven’t done enough, for example; a cycling tour/ windsurfing/ kitesurfing/ wine tasting / olive oil tasting or visit the highest point on the island.

What is included?

Entry fee: €600,-

Includes event t-shirt, race shirt, 5x lunch, 1x welcome dinner, 5x massage, usage of GPS tracking system, board storage, safety on water and land during the event.

Board rental

With our local partner Zoo Station Bol, we can offer the following: Fanatic Touring + a 80% carbon paddle: €250,-

Everyone will arrive in Split on the 25th of May. For the first night we stay in Hotel Pax In Split. The airport is close to the city, we will be able to arrange a pick-up if needed. If you are traveling by Campervan or car, there are options to stay of course in the hotel or on a campsite near Split.

When we have had our first day of paddling, we are on the Island of Brač. We will stay on the same boutique campsite for the rest of the week, called Bunja in Supetar. There is transport from the finish to start vice versa arranged every day, if you booked accommodation with us.

I really want to visit Brač! How do I do that?!

Brač is an island which can be reached by sea and air. Here are some basics.

BY SEA ///

There are two ferry lines connecting Brač with a land.

First is in Supetar, connecting Brač with Split, and the second is on Sumartin, connecting Brač with Makarska. There is a third port that can be reached by regular local boat lines, and that is Bol, on the south part of the island. Here, you can reach Brač from Split, or from a neighbouring island Hvar. More information about ferry lines and timetables you may find here.

Also, if you own or rent boats, you may just sail into any place on island Brač. We suggest Brač Deluxe for transfers!

BY AIR ///

Brač has its own small airport, situated in the middle of the island. More and more flights are introduced each year, and all the necessary information you may find on the airport’s website. If you need transportation from the airport to any other place on the island, may we suggest contacting some of the #bestofbrac service providers, such as Taxi Peša, Brač DeluxeRent a Motorino or M&B rent. Check them out!

Once you’re on the island, rent a car, use taxis or local transportation. For online booking with discount, click here.

All the emergency numbers you might need but we hope you won’t!
