We Men, You Women - Thematic Standup for Women's Day

SplickaScene returns to Brac! After the halls sold out all over Croatia, the thematic stand-up play “We Men, You Women” meets Women’s Day at the Supetar Cinema Hall.

“We men, you women” We all go through various love and misfortunes in our lives. Sometimes there is a lack of understanding in male-female relationships, but the comedian’s mind extracts the most spiritual from such situations. What were all the romantic and less romantic quarrels that they were trying to get out of and how they were trying to get out, the members will tell you when it comes to male-female relations, the weaker sex, Tomislav Primorac, Josip Skiljo, Ante Travizi and the only Brahmin stand-up comedian Ivica Lazaneo.

Josip Skiljo -> Josip Skiljo is a thirty-six-year-old “young man” and a member of the last generation of Tito’s pioneers. Tita didn’t seem very impressed, because he was dead. After graduating from the Faculty of Philosophy and gained the title of professor of Croatian and English in vain, he works in various jobs outside the profession. In 2015, after a stand-up workshop and open mic, he slowly collected performances and experience at the Laugh Studio in Zagreb, and a year later became a resident comedian. He has an exceptional ability to survive because he hatched so much and stayed alive. As he is chronically sleepless, he often falls asleep at the table or at the bar in the middle of a conversation. She is a lover of adrenaline, which is why she rides her bike through the streets of Split. His life’s goal is not to pursue the American dream, but to the Dalmatian dream – to do nothing!

Tomislav Primorac -> Tomislav Primorac is a mythological creature that all purgers fear – a half-Dalmatian, a half-Herzegovina. He was born in Mostar, is 29 years old and does not like anything that young people love. He is involved in music, comedy and comic drawing, and in his spare time is a physicist. His dream in life is to remain as memorable as Nikola Tesla because of his contributions to humanity in history. Not so much from philanthropic initiatives, but purely to make Dalmatians and Herzegovinians quarrel over whose. He’s pretty skeptical. He least trusts people who try to convince him with the “believe me” argument, and his favorite character in the Bible is Thomas the Unbeliever. The comic craft has been baking for 6 years and has laughed at a wide range of people, from young students to aggressively intrusive middle-aged men to grandmothers. And Grandmothers, admittedly, is definitely one of the best audiences. It is on a life-long mission to find the ridiculous beauty in what we fly across everyday life.

Ante Travizi -> Ante Travizi is 20 years old and a native of Split. At first it may be cute and fun, but after a few weeks people realize that it is a boring maniac. She drinks espresso and has short nerves. He has a “mild” attention deficit disorder. His mother claims that the war was planned. He is not naive. He is currently trying to finish college and is not going because his life out of college has made him fun. He may also lose his right to school because of stand-up. His food is his favorite topic of conversation. If there is a World War, it will go over to the side that will have kebab because kebab contains bread, meat and sauces, which are the very essence of life.

Ivica Lazaneo -> Ivica Lazaneo is currently the best comedian in Brač. He is currently the only comedian in the region. In addition to the Croatian language, it is fluent in English and Brac. Nikor would not drop his bokun parlo by his brooch, so he performs in Croatian. He is two feet and no, he does not play basketball. As a child, he fell into a barrel of magic potion, which is why he now has problems with alcohol. He is aware of the fact that he has a silly name but does not hate it. He hates his parents because they gave him him. Standup only deals with one thing: money, women and fame. He thinks that everything else will come from himself. I sell olive oil.

I really want to visit Brač! How do I do that?!

Brač is an island which can be reached by sea and air. Here are some basics.

BY SEA ///

There are two ferry lines connecting Brač with a land.

First is in Supetar, connecting Brač with Split, and the second is on Sumartin, connecting Brač with Makarska. There is a third port that can be reached by regular local boat lines, and that is Bol, on the south part of the island. Here, you can reach Brač from Split, or from a neighbouring island Hvar. More information about ferry lines and timetables you may find here.

Also, if you own or rent boats, you may just sail into any place on island Brač. We suggest Brač Deluxe for transfers!

BY AIR ///

Brač has its own small airport, situated in the middle of the island. More and more flights are introduced each year, and all the necessary information you may find on the airport’s website. If you need transportation from the airport to any other place on the island, may we suggest contacting some of the #bestofbrac service providers, such as Taxi Peša, Brač DeluxeRent a Motorino or M&B rent. Check them out!

Once you’re on the island, rent a car, use taxis or local transportation. For online booking with discount, click here.
