All the best of Brač | #bestofbrac

Explore all the best of Brač! Visit the most interesting locations on the island and swim on the only sandy beach on Brač – Lovrečina!

We drive from Supetar to Škrip, the oldest place on the island. In Škrip, we visit the Museum of the island and then the Olive oil museum where we will have a tasting of local products. After Škrip, we head towards Pučišća and stop at Lovrečina beach for 2 h of enjoyment in the sea and the only sandy beach on Brač. After the beach, we proceed to Pučišća. There, we visit the stonemasonry school (the last one in this part of the Europe!) and have some free time for a walk in this village, many times awarded as the prettiest small place in Europe. After that, we drive to the highest peak of the Adriatic islands – Vidova gora. After enjoying the beautiful view of the Central Dalmatian islands and the Zlatni rat beach, we return to the place of departure.

OLIVE OIL MUSEUM | Located in the oldest settlement on the island, Olive oil museum is truly an amazing place for all the olive oil lovers! Here, you can taste the olive oil, cheese and other local products, but also enjoy the rich ethnographic collection that the owner collected and carefully organized for many years.

STONEMASONRY SCHOOL | With a centuries-old tradition of masonry, Pučišća are proud to have a masonry high school, which is unique in this part of Europe. Here, you can walk through the workshop, accompanied by one of the Masters of stone. You might get dust all over yourself, but that can be a unique experience as well.

VIDOVA GORA | Vidova gora is the highest peak of all the Adriatic islands, rising up to 778m! From here, you can see the amazing Zlatni rat beach, as well as other Adriatic islands, and if you are very lucky, on a clear and sunny day, you just might see Italy!

I really want to visit Brač! How do I do that?!

Brač is an island which can be reached by sea and air. Here are some basics.

    BY SEA ///

There are two ferry lines connecting Brač with a land.

First is in Supetar, connecting Brač with Split, and the second is on Sumartin, connecting Brač with Makarska. There is a third port that can be reached by regular local boat lines, and that is Bol, on the south part of the island. Here, you can reach Brač from Split, or from a neighbouring island Hvar. More information about ferry lines and timetables you may find here.

Also, if you own or rent boats, you may just sail into any place on island Brač. We suggest Brač Deluxe for transfers!

    BY AIR ///

Brač has its own small airport, situated in the middle of the island. More and more flights are introduced each year, and all the necessary information you may find on the airport’s website. If you need transportation from the airport to any other place on the island, may we suggest contacting some of the #bestofbrac service providers, such as Taxi Peša, Brač DeluxeRent a Motorino or M&B rent. Check them out!

Once you’re on the island, rent a car, use taxis or local transportation. For online booking with discount, click here.

All the emergency numbers you might need but we hope you won’t!
