CERN, Particles and Space Elements
On Monday, August 21st, at 21h, in the Porat Hall in Pučišća, a lecture titled „CERN, Particle and Space Element“ will be held by Prof. Dr. Sc. Daniel Denegri.
prof. Dr. Sc. DANIEL DENEGRI is a prominent Croatian physicist. Areas of his scientific interest and research are numerous, and the main area is physics of elemental particles. In 1979 he was included in the CERN experiment of UA 1 initiated for the observation of the W and Z bosons so- Weak forces, thus laying the foundations of the modern physics of data elemental particles.
He is a member of several international expert committees and recently a correspondent member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Because of his outstanding scientific contribution, he was rewarded several times. He has authored over 170 scientific papers, an associate of numerous professional journals.
